I am a Naturopath and acquired my degree in Hamburg, Germany. Following my own healing through homeopathy, I chose to focus my practice on Classical Homeopathy, psychotherapy (HPG) and nutritional counseling. Even though homeopathy yields wonderful results, especially with acute illnesses, it requires the chronically ill person to be very patient. It normally takes a long time to rid the patient of all the different layers that led to his/ her condition. I have always felt that there had to be something out there that was simpler, yet could yield lasting results quicker and, in addition, was able to provide almost immediate relief for the patient.
On my quest I studied several other therapies such as Dorn and Breuss Spine Alignment, Neural Therapy and Cupping to enhance my repertoire of healing aids. The first time I consciously worked with the body's subtle energies was when a friend of mine, who is also a naturopath, taught me Kinesiology. I then wanted to find out more about our body's energies and the ancient Chinese system of meridians and was finally led to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The most well-known part of TCM is acupuncture, though it was never intended to be used as a cure all by itself, like it is unfortunately so commonly used in Europe and in the States. I have been blessed to have studied with Prof. Dr. Ru Cun Zhang, a renowned Chinese Professor of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Heidelberg University and one of his faithful assistants, Heiner Albrecht, who was my personal mentor. It was only a small step from acupuncture to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
After implementing EFT into my repertoire of healing therapies, I couldn't help but conclude that this therapy was incredibly potent and that it yielded astonishing results very quickly. I soon decided to use EFT as my main healing aid in my naturopathic practice. I was especially grateful that EFT was a technique that left my patients self-empowered rather than dependent on me, the therapist.
After moving to the United States and learning that my German degree as a naturopath was not acknowledged here, I decided to work solely as an EFT practitioner, and the results have been deeply gratifying.
I feel blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from the founder of EFT, Gary Craig, and to have worked with renowned EFT specialists Dr. Carol Look and Rue Hass. Both have been an incredible source of inspiration and knowledge.
As an ordained minister with the Universal Ministries, a non-denominational church, I am passionately committed to help others achieve their emotional freedom while fully honoring and respecting their religious and personal beliefs.
